Bleeding on Evorel Conti - anyone else?

I’ve been on these patches for 8 months now and still bleeding every few weeks - it stops and I think it’s gone for good then comes back 4-6 weeks later. It’s not as heavy as a period but heavier than spotting. Has anyone else experienced this?

@Menapause2026 I've only just seen your post, hence the late reply.
All my awful, period like bleeding was on Everol Conti. I tried it for almost 4 months and it clearly wasn't suitable for me. It wasn't a bit of spotting, it was like a proper period, except every 10 days to 2 weeks apart.
My scan was fine.
I'm now trying Everol 25 patches with nightly 100mcg Utrogestan. It us the lowest dose of Oestrogen, but so far so good. My sleep is ok (much better than without it) and night sweats are much reduced. I feel fine on it. However, it has only been 2 weeks, so early days yet but I'm hopeful.
I'm 59, and post meno for around 6 years. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I find evorel 25 and 100mg progesterone suits me much better so far with spotting and sleep.

When I first started HRT I was on evorel conti. I didn't feel bad on it, but I did have irregular bleeding. It wasn't heavy, but it was varying colour from red to brown/black and it wasn't at regular times, it was very random with no real pattern although it would happen more often on certain placement areas. I was sent for investigation to make sure all was ok and it was. My GP said it was likely that I just wasn't absorbing well enough. I was then changed to Estradiol gel and utrogestan. Again I feel ok with these, and apart from a little in the beginning, I have no bleeding at all now.

I have been on it about 7 months. Only just had a bleed last week.

I’ve been on estrodot conti, which is the same just smaller 30/90 and just had a week of spotting and 4 days of the heaviest horrible clotted period. I got so panicked I took the patch off.
i can’t take micronised progesterone as it makes my anxiety so bad! I took one last night and remembered why I dont take it. So looks like im going to have to wing Menopause which is scary!

I think i know where I have messed up....I really don't know why, I just don't take things in well so for the first 7 month on evorel conti I wasn't sticking to the 3.5 day change. I just used to change it around that time but never on time, maybe a day early or 12 hours but never had a fixed day and time until I was late to change it and I spotted for 2 weeks and then the penny dropped so for the last 4 weeks I have set alarms for every 3.5 days and now I am having red bleeds which I never used to have before changing it properly it was always just brown spotting so I am hoping it is my body getting used to the new routine x

How long were you on conti please?

I was over 2 years on the evorel conti. They were really easy and I did like the idea, it just didn't work as well for me. I also found they were starting to irritate my skin.
