Aching hips, legs

I’m 38 so know this could be early but I’m absolutely convinced I’m starting peri menopause.

Migraines worse, trouble getting to sleep periods have become painful, irregular and heavy, my emotions are all over very up and down but more so down recently, no motivation 2 weeks before and sooooo tired. Randomly in the past couple of weeks my legs and hips have become unbelievably achy, nothing takes it off and all in all I’m feeling pretty miserable.

Everyone I’ve mentioned it to seems to think im too young but I honestly feel like I’ve felt a shift in my hormones and quite honestly I don’t know what to do.

Not sure what I’m expecting, but has anyone else started all this around this age?

Yes. And I was about 38 when my hips ached like mad. I read on here that it might be peri, my dr dismissed it as a symptom but prescribed hrt, within days it was gone and hasn't returned in 18 months.

Quite a while to be honest. Maybe a year? I had all the things you mention but individually they all seemed like quite small issues and I felt too young. I burst into tears during a puppy training class because my dog wouldn't sit and I decided to do something about how I felt after that. Mostly everything has resolved. I do still get a bit of anxiety before my period but I've just changed to patches and I don't think the progesterone is suiting me as much as the other, but I'm sleeping and not aching anymore.

Thank you so much for replying.

I feel the same as in I have sectioned each thing off as a minor, I have a 6 year old and put a lot of it down to a busy lifestyle, a young child, working full time etc but I sat down the other week after crying on and off and realised it’s the same time every month around my period that this all comes to a head. At first I thought it could be PMDD but I’ve been having hot flashes all of the above and oddly I just know it’s the start of something. I have endometriosis which I know can start the whole process a little earlier so I think it’s time to get checked out.

Well done for seeking advice though, I’m finding it extremely difficult to do that for some reason.
