Early menopause?

I’m 36, almost 37. I had some health issues over the past which I never got a diagnosis the doctors put it down to a “funtional” issue.

i had my mirena removed last September in case it was the cause of my nausea.

Ive noticed now after ovulation every month I start to get night sweats, and cold chills. My period will come and they stop, it’s like clockwork. I also get awful cramps and nausea and upset stomach in the lead up to my periods, but my period has become so light I barely need to change my pad each day. They are still regular though.

could it be early menopause?

Yes, I started symptoms at 37, I m still getting the occasional light period at 46, but it's really starting to look like v late stage perimenopause now. It can go on for 10 years

Peri menopause can last up to 10 years and start at 35, so it’s not really early. However, other things can cause night sweats, thyroid issues for one. Did they do any blood tests? If you haven’t had any for a while it would be worth discussing with a Dr again.

@JealousyIsADisease yes I’ve had quite a few blood tests and my thyroid checked. The only thing constantly wonky in my bloods is platelets slightly out of range but doctors weren’t especially worried
