Has anyone tried this for energy? Sounds amazing - or is it a scam?

No but I get loads of ads too, supposedly it reverses grey hair too 🤣

ChocolateGanache · 11/07/2025 07:11

I’ll admit I’m a sucker for supplements. It just does seem too good to be true doesn’t it? But all the reviews/ comments seem really convincing. I don’t know anyone who takes it though.

(Not the grey hair reversal - that obvs sounds like bollocks!)

I’ve just started taking them. Can’t say yet if it’s doing anything as I’m only a week in.

Also interested!

Although I am perturbed by the number of supplements I end up convincing myself I need.

JinglingSpringbells · 11/07/2025 13:37

I've never heard of it.
On balance, I'm not a fan of supplements as there's little science around them.

Well some of us are. And there is science around some supplements 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think any product that makes a clearly false claim eg reversing grey hair, cant be trusted at all in any of their other claims.

I think it’s important to find the right thing that works for you.

I also think that a supplement isn’t going to replace getting enough sleep, eating right and exercising.

I try hard not to take too many and to give them a proper trial over a few months… it’s good to stop them sometimes and see if you notice a difference.

I also much prefer things that are not tablets.

Good point. I’m going to ask my nutritionist about this.

There's plenty of info online - AI for example.

In a nutshell, there are not enough long enough or large enough trials but it has shown some results (anti ageing) in some animal studies.

I only came on to this thread because, to me, NMN means Nordic Model Now. I wondered why on earth they would be advertising.

It's a bit disappointing to find that it's just supplements. 😂

Thank you.

Overall, this study indicates that continuous NMN supplementation in cancer pre-disposition conditions might enhance development and progression of skin cancer.
