Hi all. Every single day and night I sweat and sweat from each inch of my bottom. I’ve kept the window open, got a lower tog duvet and put a cooling pad on my head.

Nothing will work, advice needed!! x

Maybe HRT?

What has your GP suggested? As the pp said hrt is the obvious choice if quality of life is badly affected with meno issues but if you can't have hrt or don't want it there are meds for vasomotor symptoms that are non hormonal so do an econsult or request a phone consult and see what they suggest.

If you can't take HRT I have found glycine to be amazing for night sweats. It is an amino acid and has numerous benefits. I started taking 3g before bed to increase deep sleep but according to my fitbit it has also lowered my body temperature at night.

It is also great for blood sugar regulation and has been shown in clinical trials to increase longitivity. Most people are deficient in it as it is found in the parts of meat that tend to be discarded.

Use just a top sheet or empty duvet cover instead of a duvet.
