Testogel users - has anyone increased their dose since starting on it

Well pretty much that. I have been on testogel since very early January. It made such a difference and truly felt like the last piece of the puzzle. Not just the libido issue we have to present with to get it but also brain fog, energy, motivation etc and so on. The last couple of months it has feelt like the effect is lesser, some symptoms are sneaking back.

So I was wondering if anyone has gone up from the 8th of the pack per week to a higher dose?

I find it impossible to measure out tbh. I was getting through it in about 5 days at one point and my testosterone levels went through the roof so my GP took me off it for a few months.

@IFoundYouShoppingInEuropaOnWardourStreet I fully agree it is impossible to measure. I tried using a syringe. Impossible. Now I just try my best to get that pea size but often find myself forgetting which day I started the pack! 🤔

Be careful not just on the dose, but where you apply it too, I began to get hairier and got a few spots as well.
so I cut back a bit, and prioritised my sleep and that seems to have worked on the brain fog!

I use a 5g sachet every week or so. Some days I don’t apply it- depending if I’m coming up to a period as the progesterone gives me pmt.

This happened to me, although it was taking 7 days to get through the sachet. I've not gone back on it, or had my levels rechecked. Did it take long for your level to drop again?

I had to come off it for 3 months and then my levels were back to normal. I'm back on it again now but really worried about my levels again! I feel so much better on it, but my GP told me that if my levels rise again then I can't take it again.

Thanks for that. I had mine through superdrug, not the GP, so haven't bothered with it again as the blood tests for levels are around £50 and I didn't want to be paying that every couple of months. I might ask the GP if they'll prescribe it now.

So, I’m the same as you OP. Testosterone gave me back some of my energy and mental spark. Then I felt it didn’t work so well. I think my natural hormone levels fluctuate so sometimes o feel better on it than at other times.

I've not increased my testogel and didn't think it was an option but I had a HRT review a few weeks back and as I'm still getting a lot of symptoms the doctor said I could go from a sachet over 7 days to a sachet over 5 days. I do have to have bloods done first but we shall see...

Thanks all for sharing your experiences.

@GreyHood please update with the outcome.

Im waiting for my blood results to come back but annoyingly the appointment with the menopause specialist has been moved a few weeks now.
