Please help with Colpotrophine (Promestriène) for vaginal atrophy

I have Colpotrophine (Promestriène) 1 % cream and 10mg capsules for vaginal atrophy. I’ve had the capsules for a while but this is my first time with the cream.

The prescription says to use them on alternate days, but for the cream it doesn’t say how much to apply or where (exactly).

Is that like estriol cream or it is a hydrocortisone?

I use estriol 1% and shove some inside with my finger and then massage the rest around my perineum and labia.

Did it not come with an applicator? Like the thing you used to get for tampons.
