Morning , before I lash out £250 on this, has anyone tried and had success. I’m awaiting a delivery of Victory Oil after reading good reviews. My symptoms are vaginal soreness and dryness and sex is painful . I’m currently taking doxycycline for a sinus infection so wondering if it’s given me thrush which is making things worse ( hot weather not helping either). But the had symptoms before that anyway.
I take Vagifem pessaries x 2 weeks have upped my estriol cream to 3 x week ( my doctor said it’s ok ) .
I was using the Dr Wolf’s V san cream , but it’s got a long list of chemical ingredients and I’m not keen on that, hence having a go next with the Victory Oil after reading, before I consider the device. I’ve seen the Halle Berry interviews and read so many reviews that it’s a miracle remedy , if it works then would be worth the spend.
thanks in advance , feeling a bit miserable atm 😢!

My own view is these things are snake oil. Never heard of the device but laser treatment is not in favour with UK gynaes- no evidence it works.

Are you using vagifem pessaries twice a week?
Are you inserting Ovestin 3 times?
Or is the Ovestin just for external use?

If you're only inserting pessaries 2 x a week, I'd start by increasing that. Some women do 4 x a week.

@JinglingSpringbells thank you. I will give 3 x vagifem a go, though have to say the oil arrived yesterday and I’m impressed , the itch went straightway and I feel much more comfortable . Yes I insert the ovestin and then the residue around externally.

Out of interest why are you using both Vagifem and Ovestin internally, but on different days?

Usually if you use Vagifem, you'd only use the Ovestin externally.

You could try the re-loading of 14 days on Vagifem and see how that goes.

I thought that’s what I was supposed to do. I think I’ll speak to my GP and see what they say. Thanks.

Do you mean you thought you were supposed to do another 2 weeks (Vagifem every day for 14 days) or alternate Vagifem and Ovestin throughout the week?

Sorry- I'm confused!

Most women choose one or the other (either Vagifem or Ovestin) and stick with that, using it as necessary- some 2 times a week, others here say they use it 4-5 times a week.

Some women who prefer Vagifem to sometimes also use a small blob of Ovestin cream externally as it help the bits that Vagifem can't.
