Anyone have any recommendations for how to deal with an itchy scalp? It's literally doing my head in!!

It’s awful isn’t! I found Green people have a shampoo for itchy sensitive scalp and it did help to soothe it. Expensive but lasts a long time .

Aldi shampoo. It's in a brown bottle . Precious Oil?
Or Pharmaencis from Essential . It's a micellular shampoo that's good too.

Nizoral to settle it with head&shoulders in-between and then for maintenance.

T gel?

I use body shop ginger shampoo and conditioner

I use Moogoo shampoo, it seems to help a bit.

Thank you all I'll take a look at these.

Honestly, it's been awful recently and making me paranoid I have nits 😫

Philip Kingsley flaky itchy scalp shampoo. I haven’t used Nizoral or Head & Shoulders since I discovered it.

Second body shop ginger shampoo, it’s a miracle worker!

Funnyduck60 · 17/06/2025 18:16

Hrsd & shoulders do stuff for dry and itchy scalps. I used it last year as the medicated stuff was unavailable. It was fine and worked quickly.

Walkingisgood · 17/06/2025 18:36

Yep, I went through the "have I got nits" loop too!
Mentioned above, Neutrogena T-gel Sensitive Scalp helped me a lot. I just use it along with other safe products to condition etc., and massage in well.
