Evorel patch, increasing from 50 to 75... how long to see effects?

GP has recently increased the dose of my patch, as had started having a very low mood, aching joints, poor sleep and hot flashes... I'm just wondering how long it would be until I see improvements?

I'm also worried because I have to be careful with hrt due to a previous dvt, so don't want to increase unnecessarily.

I increased my dose from 25 to 50 last night. Nurse said to double up on patches as I'd just picked up my prescription of 25s. I put the patches on at 9 and had to take one of them off again 12 as I was having really bad heart palpitations and felt a bit dizzy. Now I'm assuming they were due to the patch and the nurse did say if I have them then to cut back down to one, I didn't realise I would feel the effects so quickly.
