Pelvic pain after sex

Hi all, had sex for the first time in a while last night but noticed that I had pain across my pelvis afterwards, like a dull ache but also a few short sharp pains.

Does anyone have any advice? TIA!

It happens to me but not consistently. I can't find any pattern as to why it happenes. I hope things resolve themselves for you
