Please help been on it for say 3 months but 4 patches have come off in that time I’ve done everything to try and stick them, my one on Monday has completely come off don’t know where it’s gone!!!!! I’m told you can’t cover them, micro pore was equally useless what do I do? Any advice ?

When you put it on place your warm hand over it to warm the adhesive so it sticks to your skin.
where do you put it? Top of thigh works well, doesn’t get sweaty!

Mrswhirley · 28/05/2025 23:21

I’ve had the same issue with patches recently, switched to another brand and still fell off. Just been prescribed lenzetto spray and so far I’m impressed! So much easier!

CallIpswichNow · 28/05/2025 23:23

Could they be getting kind of dragged off by clothing friction? I’ve been on them years and rarely have one come off, but the odd time it’s happened, it’s been because of where it was positioned on the lower back/upper slopes of my bum, below waistband level. I blame the super-compressive gym leggings

LostMySocks · 28/05/2025 23:25

I had this problem to start with as I'd put them on my thigh and they kept rubbing off. Started putting them across the base of my stomach underneath the front of my knickers which seems to protect them and help them to stick

I have just switched to gel as I was having similar problems with the patches falling off, and also started reacting to the adhesive. You can try tegaderm patches over the top, but my skin reacted really badly to them.

OatFlatWhiteForMe · 29/05/2025 00:35

Mine used to come off my thigh or buttocks but I put them on my lower back/hip and they stay great now. Been using them for 3 years.

nottoday3000 · 29/05/2025 19:37

Thanks all I’ve tried palm of hand hairdryer and tragderm patches which stay on but I’m then told you must not cover the patch think I might have a word with the dr I normally alternate between left and right outer thigh 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just a suggestion but I wonder if you are changing your patch after a bath or shower and that is causing the problem? Even after towelling dry your skin will still be a bit damp.

I change mine before I go to bed (shower in the mornings) and they never fall off.

someonehastoberight · 29/05/2025 21:37

Make sure your skins totally dry and no moisturiser in that area. I’ve only had one fall off and I’d stupidly put oil on the area before I stuck it down!

nottoday3000 · 03/06/2025 20:08

And I’ve tried my bum and it’s fallen off in the bath gahhh 🤷🏼‍♀️
