Does anyone feel so depressed at the end of the break from progesterone?

I had my two week break from progesterone and started taking the tablets again on Wednesday night. Thursday and Friday I was off work, have next week off but I could barely drag myself out of bed I felt so sad and depressed and anxious.

Today after taking the progesterone for the last three nights again, I feel amazing! Nothing has changed other than that. I religiously do my oestrogen gel every single night. There's a situation at work I'm worried about but today I'm like meh, it's only work who cares. Yesterday i was trying to find ways to leave work.
It has to be the break from progesterone which is affecting me.

Anyone else?

I certainly feel my moods are so up and down with sequential progesterone. I wonder if sleep (or lack of it has an influence too). This week I felt ‘sad’ no real reason just a feeling that I might cry. Nothing significant has changed - other than I am on a break from the progesterone.

Are you old enough / far enough into menopause that you could switch to taking it all the time? Instead of two tablets for two weeks you take one every day. Talk to the GP about that.

Yes!
When I first started HRT I was on oestrogen tablets for two weeks followed by progesterone for two weeks and so on
The week or so after finishing progesterone was awful, I felt really anxious, paranoid and close to tears at work (visibly at times)
I changed to Oestrogel and 200mg progesterone capsules and it all stopped (even though I was having a similar break regime with the progesterone)

After about 3 years of this my
practice nurse got me to try a daily dose of 100mg progesterone with a three day break Now I'm on month 2 of patches (HRT has a lot of trial and error as I've worked out what is best)

In short, see your Dr about possibly changing your HRT as you don't have to put up with the anxiety
