I am 50, and just got this blood test result. Any idea if it indicates post menopause or still in peri menopause?
I have had zero other menopausal symptoms.
Bleeding is irregular and spaced out. I actually had no bleeding for 3 years 2021-2024 (likely due to rapid weight loss), but now have the occasional bleeding again as am back up to a healthy weight.
Hence the complete confusion over whether this bleeding is post menopause or pre menopause!
Scan showed womb lining thickening, endometrial biopsy was all clear. Apparently these findings are normal if I’m peri and not post.
I need to declare a diagnosis for insurance purposes but have no idea what to tell the insurance company, and GP not available to clarify any of this for several weeks.
