I appreciate this may sound weird but anyone else had like a second round? My last period was over 5 years ago, I’ve got fibroids so was advised against HRT and whilst bad at the time, I’d say last 4 years or so everything’s settle down.
Anyway about 6 months ago i started getting hot flushes again, that exhausted to your bones, brain fog and the more recently the rage has returned - yes there is some rage inducing things going on in my life, but this is that pit of stomach, red fog rage that I remember when peri menopausal.
Is this a thing? I have a doctor appointment and in fairness she’s very good for this kind of thing but it’s in a few weeks so thought I’d ask the hive mind.

You can get symptoms at any time and forever in some cases.

I'd not worry about the length of time since you had symptoms. It's quite normal for them to come and go, because your estrogen falls throughout life.

Fibroids aren't a reason to avoid HRT. That 'old chestnut' keeps popping up here time after time. The amount of estrogen in HRT is not as much as your own, and with the right amount of progesterone (or maybe the Mirena coil) it may not affect fibroids.

It's a case of balancing pros and cons, and trialling HRT to see how you go.
