Could this be perimenopause or could it be breastfeeding related?

I thought I’d reach out here in case anyone has experienced similar or has any advice.

Over the past few months, I’ve been struggling with the following symptoms:

•	Constant fatigue and low energy, even after rest
•	Really poor sleep – I feel exhausted but can’t fall asleep
•	Dry mouth that water doesn’t seem to help
•	Itchy, dry labia minora – worse before my period
•	Weight gain I can’t shift, despite healthy eating and trying to stay active. Mostly around stomach
•	Anxiety that persists even though I’m on sertraline

• low libido- non existent
• dry and itchy legs, also restless legs at night
• muscle aches
• hesdaches
• and most embarrassing one; I wet myself the other night!! Never have experienced this at all.
• Periods are regular, but these symptoms are cyclical. I have noticed period is lighter though.

I’ve had basic bloods done through the GP, who said everything was “normal,” but something still feels off. I’ve tried multiple thrush treatments (though I don’t think it’s actually thrush), melatonin and sleeping aids (no real improvement), and I’m taking vitamins including iron, but nothing seems to be shifting.

I’m starting to wonder if this is hormonal—maybe perimenopause, low estrogen, thyroid-related, or is it because I am still breastfeeding my 3.5 year old (maybe once or twice a day).

Has anyone been through similar or have any suggestions? I’ve asked for a full hormone panel and thyroid check but would love to know what helped others.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
