I get a bad headache on day 1 or 2 of my period every month. It went away for a while when I started hrt and utrogestan but is back in the last few months. any one have this and solved it somehow? I can barely function when I get it. have it again today.
thanks.

I had a coil fitted because of menstrual migraines. Stopped the peaks and troughs of hormones. You have my sympathy. It's horribly

I have this but it lasts about three days and is variable when I get it. I take sumatriptan and that is the only thing that works.

Soluble aspirin is the only thing that sorts mine out. My doctor told me to take 3 when it starts and it has made it so much more manageable. I had tried so many things over the years. It has to be the soluble ones. Very cheap too!

Thanks everyone. I'll try the painkillers. I'm not keen on getting the mirena coil, had a few bad experiences trying to get it done and decided I'm going to leave it.

Sumatriptan works a dream for menstrual headaches. Mine has usually gone within an hour. I had the coil fitted a month ago and hoping that it helps.
