I've just been put on this by my hormone clinic who I've been seeing for 7 months now. I started today - one pump each morning.

My thigh has gone all tingly where I put it on - is this normal? Not unpleasant but strange!!

Have you experienced any other side effects?
And what benefits have you had, and how fast?

Have you had to increase how much you use?

Huge thanks and looking forward to hearing from you

Hi @loveyouradvice -- do you mean oestrogen gel? It's a clear gel and comes in a pump pack.
Progesterone is usually taken in capsule/pill form.
Oestrogen cream is for internal use only (vag).
If it is oestrogel it can feel a bit tingly (I think it's the alcohol in the formation). I found it brilliant at settling my brain fog, hot flushes, anxiety etc. I started off with 2 pumps a day. I put them on my inner thigh or upper arm.
I hope this helps - all the best for your meno journey x

If it's oestrogel I started that just over a month ago.
At first I had an increase in hot flushes especially at night, and insomnia associated with this. I also felt like I had permanent rage and intolerance!
But it does advise you to give it 3 months to settle down, and it's already getting better. Low mood was first to go, and flushes and insomnia are slowly getting less frequent.

Good luck and I hope it helps you, and yes the odd tingling is normal as it dries in.
