Currently I’m on Elleste Duet 2mg tablets, so oestrogen and norethisterone. I can’t tolerate patches or gel, and Lenzetto spray wasn’t strong enough, hence the tablets.
I’m having my right ovary removed soon, and having a smear and Mirena coil fitted at the same time under anaesthetic. Am I right in thinking that the Mirena will provide progesterone and I will just need oestrogen for HRT? And if so, can anyone advise if oestrogen tablets are available? Thanks!
