Continuous hrt, always hungry, gaining weight

I've recently changed from cyclical hrt to continuous and my appetite and cravings have soared. I'm starting to gain weight which is really bothering me - i worked really hard to get to a healthy weight a year or so ago and have maintained it well. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? Will it settle?

Hmmm that's interesting. I'm currently nearly a stone heavier post menopause-I have developed a ridiculous sweet tooth and am bingeing for the first time in my life, on biscuits, cake and chocolate. I barely ate anything sweet for 20 years prior to that. I was a salt addict. Having said that I did enjoy my wine but I've gone off that now, as I feel absolutely hammered after just two glasses. I've never had a toned belly but now it hangs down over my pubic bone. It's awful. Considering Munjairo but I'm not overweight enough for that, so it seems.

It's both sweet and savoury for me - once I start I absolutely cannot stop. I'm sure I don't even taste half of what goes in my mouth. I'm thinking of coming off the hrt to see if the eating settles

I’ve been continuous for a while and it didn’t seem to cause weight gain / bingeing UNTIL they swapped the utrogestan for gepetrix and now I’m really struggling. I know that’s meant to be identical but I’ve got other symptoms too.

I put on weight with HRT ( just Oestrogel) and bloated up. Wasnt hungry and ate pretty little, but still put on weight. Am off it now. A pity as it really helped with hot flushes, mood and energy, but I just can't tolerate the bloating on my tummy.

Weirdly it was the complete opposite for me! I spent my whole adult life binge eating then perimenopause and HRT and I just lost the compulsion to overeat.

I moved onto continuous 7 weeks ago and I'm now craving sweet things for the first time in my life. Just sat here inhaling a bag of chocolate minstrals right now. I'm not fat enough for mounjaro (yet).
