I had a really bad phase of brain fog 2 years ago and the doctor kept telling me l was depressed, l knew with the other symptoms l had that it was peri menopause related, l had a rough time as she wouldn’t listen ti me and when l requested to see another doctor she sent me for blood tests which took 13 weeks for an appointment, honestly it was shocking. Due to the length of time for my bloods to be taken and how long it had been going on l looked into what l could take in the mean time as l didn’t trust my doctor and felt like she was fobbing me off, l looked to to what l could take to help me. I started taking vit d3, omega3,6&9, zinc and body and her +mind (from Holland and barret).

With the prices of EVERYTHING in the whole world going up l am finding it a bit expensive, l don’t buy everything from H&B just the last one. I am thinking of stopping but wondering what supplements others taking and any recommendations. I see a lot on Facebook/ Instagram but l don’t really trust them.

Any suggestions ladies?

Supplements don't work. If they did they'd be prescribed.
They are only of any use if you have a deficient diet. Apart from Vit D.

Why not make another appt and discuss HRT? If you're over 45 you don't need blood tests, but even under 45 HRT is available.

if you take vitamin d u also need co factors
tbis group was very helpful for me and my vitamin d levels rose after starting their protocol, despite taking a lower dose than my endo had prescribed previously

Magnesium. K2. Fish oils. Etc.

worked for me anyway.
