Face cream for dry sensitive peri skin?

Currently battling what I suspect is a bad dose of food poisoning and my skin is even drier than usual. I’m peri menopausal and have sensitive skin/eczema especially around my eyes. I want to treat myself to a nice moisturiser or day and night cream as I feel like a prune right now due to dehydration.

Can anyone recommend a good face cream?

I would suggest using the la roche posays one. So here is my routine that I follow with that:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
la roche posay spf
Evening:
la roche posay moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

I mix jojoba oil with rose oil, dampen clean skin and gently massage into your skin. I’m going through the menopause and this has been amazing. My skin is HIGHLY sensitive, been a nightmare throughout my life. I also use Nivea cream before the jojoba, always use a cream before the oil.

I remember once going to a make up party and the woman taking it wanted us all to cleanse our faces to try the products, I declined. The last time I did that on my first and last Elemis facial I was in discomfort for 3 days, they gave me a lavender rescue cream. I also use lavender oil directly on my skin as it’s soothing if it’s stinging or burning, I always take it away if anyone gets sunburn, it’s fab and smells gorgeous.

I use Ceravie moisturiser over the top of The Ordinary serum, it absorbs really well, doesn't upset my sensitive eyes or bring me out in blotches or rashes. I tried the Aveeno Oat gel moisturiser but it did nothing for my skin & left me with sore eyes & itchy skin. The Ceravie moisturiser is cheap as chips, a 500ml tub is around £16 but is worth every penny.

Same as me including eyelid eczema and I need cica to soothe and ceramides to improve the barrier . Dr Jart Ceramidin is great but expensive. But it feel like being wrapped in a blanket.

Simple repairing rich cream is good Mid price

Cien intense Q10 from Lidl is amazing for 1.49!

I spent years trying to work out what I needed!

Also eucerin are good (ato control for when it flare red) and LRP tolerant riche is next on my list to try.

I use cersve hydrating cleanser or oil to foam cleanser and a soft microfiber cloth.

Also on my to try list is Boots Derma eczema cream with ectoin.

Avene cicafalate is ok but not amazing for a flare up.
