Have you found one that doesn’t?
Every time I have tried it, I just bloat up. Same with the pill.

This is what's upsetting me at the moment. I was always DD, now F or even G in some styles of bra. Stopped HRT for 2 months, felt like shit, but the G size knockers remained. Looks like once you've grown them, you're stuck with them.

Unfortunately that’s the truth, and even when you lose weight the boobs stay huge. I had a reduction, now I’m D cup. On HRT I went up to a double F! It certainly put me off taking HRT again.

This is my thought, if I didn't take it, she wouldn't know. I think it's just the threat of it protecting against cancer that makes me think twice.

I guess I was hoping to get someone here say that they'd been told it was fine to stop taking it Confused

After a little more digging on NICE website it says exactly the same thing about Levosert and Mirena, and even says "the FSRH advises levosert is used for the prevention of endometrial hyperplasia, although this is considered unlicensed" so I think I have my answer. Thank you for your help!

I'm thinking of stopping my patches for exactly this reason. I lost a lot of weight (more than 2 years ago) and had kept it off until I started on Evorel Conti patches late last year and my weight is gradually creeping up again- I can't go back to that weight.

I think the bloating caused by oestrogen is mainly caused by fluid retention. Have you tried cutting down on salt and on upf (which contain a lot of salt) and upping water intake?

Progesterone can cause weight gain due to slowing of digestion. I would up fermented foods to improve this by supporting your gut microbiome. Foods containing natural enzymes can also help e.g a kiwi after a meal is great for digestion and has a lot of fibre to support your gut.

IME it causes weight gain because it makes you bloody eat more 😆 I guess because it mimics the luteal phase/ run up to a period...?

God I'd love a reduction to a D.
