Menopause Rage

It's real, isn't it? I generally get along fine at work, chat to co-workers and get on with my job. Today one woman wouldn't stop going on about her long weekend and one guy was bemoaning sitting on his new iPhone. I swear I really felt like slapping them both and walking out.
I have never, ever slapped anyone or stormed out of anywhere in my life. They weren't even acting differently than they usually do. I just never felt the rage before.
I don't even know why I'm posting, really. It was just such an unusual experience for me. I still feel a bit unnerved.

It's absolutely real and it's good you've recognised it because you've got a rocky road ahead of you, I'm afraid.

Does it coincide with your luteal phase? Are you on hrt? Can you take it?

I can't take HRT because of family history and my cycle is very erratic at the moment so I don't know where I am.

Can you absolutely not take hrt? Even women who themselves have had cancer can take it, depending on circumstances. I would strongly urge you to investigate because this type of mood dysregulation is solidly linked to hormones, and if your hormones being out of whack is causing you issues, the best and fastest remedy is to get them into whack by replacing those hormones.

Can you try tracking your cycle and mood? So today you've experienced rage. Make a note of it, then make a note of when your period comes. Keep doing that.

It is real! Menopace helps me - worth a try? Exercise, too. I feel less like punching a wall if I am tired out!
