Hysteroscopy with general anaesthetic

Just thought I would provide some info after my procedure today.
I needed a hysteroscopy to do a biopsy to investigate post menopausal bleeding and a slightly thickened lining. I was absolutely terrified of the anaesthetic, the possible things that could go wrong and the pain after.
Well, after all the worry, the procedure is done. No issues with the anaesthetic, slightly crampy for an hour after but much less now and didn’t need any painkillers in recovery.
Just the wait for the biopsy results now.
i hope anyone feeling anxious or scared about the procedure under GA has the same experience as mine. Xx
