First month on hrt. Been prescribed evorel sequi patches. Had been having regular periods but some peri symptoms.
I’m on week three now so using the evorel conti patch. I’ve had very strong period pains but no period for about 3 days now.
feels like I should be having a heavy period..but nothing !

It takes a while to settle down when you start HRT, so it's a bit early to know. That said, some people are very sensitive to the progesterone - I couldn't take the pills since they gave me 12 day headaches every month. The patches have been better for me but I never got the calm, relaxed feeling that progesterone gives some women.
iirc when everything settles you should get a 'period' around the time you finish your last Conti patch in the cycle/start of your next oestrogen only patch.
But to complicate matters as you get further in your own natural cycle and progression into menopause can make your hormones try to override the cycle set out by the patches and so it's not always clear cut as to when you'll bleed. It really is trial and error.

Hi Elasticatedwaist, I'm at a similar stage to you but 5 weeks in now. My usual bleed is about 2 weeks overdue and I feel I could bleed any minute, but nothing. I know it takes a while to settle, and I do feel "better" than I did 5 weeks ago, but I'm also struggling with feeling I'm stuck in week 4 of my cycle with no relief. Wondering how things are for you now?

Hi @Hotmessy I had the cramps for a few days then they stopped. My period didn’t come until about 3 days into starting back on the evorel 50 patches. Weirdly when it did, I had no cramping with it at all and it was slightly less problematic than my usual periods. But.. there was me thinking my mood has improved and I was a teary mess just after it. The jury is still out.
