Switching from Estradot to Estrogel

I have switched from Estradot 100 to Estrogel (2 pumps 2 x day) because of Estradot shortages and I feel horrible.

I have literally just switched, am I being impatient or do I need to give it time? My levels should be decent already but I feel anxious and on edge.

Hoping it gets better! Anyone else made the same switch and any words of wisdom?

I don’t really understand how gel works over time, but I wonder if splitting the dose isn’t the same as 4 pumps at once. I’d try that and see if it makes a difference. (I’m probably going to have to go down this route too if estradot doesn’t come back in stock in the next few weeks 😩 so watching with interest!)

@CortadoPleasefingers crossed the Estradot comes back! I went for gel instead of other patch brands because the other patches are all so huge but it's an option for me if I don't like the gel I guess. Will stick it out a bit longer though.

I think the reason they tell you to split the dose if you have +2 pumps is because one pump does cover quite a large surface area. If I put it on my arms it's all the way from shoulder to wrist! Leg is better- at least for me but maybe cos my legs are bigger than my arms.

Will persist for a bit longer and see how it goes.
