Help need to restart

help! prior to major abdominal surgery i had to stop my HRT - gel and tablet.
Now 6 weeks post Op and would like to restart but no idea how too? Obvs cant get a GP apt and the HRT nurse at the surgery is away for 3 weeks….
Anyone any ideas?

It's often not needed to stop HRT before surgery especially if it's transdermal estrogen and micronised progesterone. It's best if the surgeon discusses this with a gynaecologist first because modern HRT doesn't raise the risk of blood clots.

You should be able to start any time.
