Is it worth sitting out progesterone for three months to see if it gets better?

I'm wrangling progesterone, which doesn't like me nor me it. Thank to a previous thread on here I am now taking it vaginally (100mg daily) which is better than orally (I was having suicidal thoughts) but am still feeling low and lacking in joy.

Will things get better if I sit it out for another six weeks - does this ever happen - or should I try another formulation. I don't want Mirena now as have child doing A Levels and a massive work deadline at the end of June, so don't want something I can't stop immediately.

Please advise!

Oh also, am on HRT to deal with irritable bladder, which it is doing very well.

Can’t help as I love my mirena - have had it for about 19 years (well, not the same one, obvs)

You could try increasing the estrogen.

What type and what dose?

I’m on two pumps of gel at the moment. I might try doing that in the morning first. Am slightly reluctant to increase it as my menopause consisted of terrible health anxiety caused by dropping oestrogen levels and have successfully recreated this with even topical HRT before now.
