Trauma and menopause symptoms

I’m on HRT for the past two years. After the first year some of my symptoms started creeping back and the gp put me on a higher dose as my request (after a blood test). Now after a year on the higher dose it feels like some of my symptoms are coming back again and I’m even getting ones I hadn’t had before I started HRT. I’m doing everything I can, I eat well, I exercise, I’m out in nature once a week, I’m healthy weight… it is very demoralising and confusing. I came across this idea of trauma contributing towards having more severe symptoms in perimenopause and I did the ACEs test, I have 6 ACEs, which is a bit scary. I think my question is, does anyone else go through something similar? Has anyone tried therapy and has it improved your health?
