I’m just starting progesterone (Utrogestan) the cycle I’m on is for 12 days . Apparently I will have a bleed after finishing them but what I’m asking is that I haven’t had a period for four months so will I have a bleed every time I finish these ? If so how will I know if I have reached menopause where you have no bleeding for 12 months . Hope it makes sense cos I’m confused 😕

Yes, you will have a withdrawal bleed each cycle. (Some women miss one occasionally as it depends how much estrogen your womb absorbs.) HRT creates a false cycle and the bleed is to stop the womb lining growing out of control. The withdrawal bleeds will carry on as long as you use sequential HRT.
Once you're older (over 54) you can swap to a type that is bleed free.

You won't know when you are post menopausal when using HRT.

In a way it's not relevant unless you're also concerned about contraception and you should continue with it to 54, when on HRT unless you know for sure you're post meno.
