So I’m definitely in Peru menopause (nearing 43) and have had varying symptoms on and off for 6 months
this months latest delight is horrendously red spotty skin, chest and shoulders covered but none on my face….had this in my late teens/twenties and it cleared up but hormones have bought it back ten fold!
I’ve tried every product, tea tree oil you can think of but nothing is helping :(
it’s definitely not diet related as I haven’t changed my eating habits at all
any advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks ladies

What is the emoji for an evil cackle?
Not me by the way, but the universe, laughing at all women as they age.
Read the books, watch the interviews and listen to the podcasts, and the message is that unfortunately, you have not changed your diet or anything about your lifestyle, but your body is changing how it reacts to all that. The glory.
So, doing what you did isn't working anymore, you have not changed anything, your body has changed on you.

Everyone is going to have their own take on what worked and did not work for them, so take everything with a pinch of salt, but do read the books and listen to the podcasts.
My own take, get the salt ready, is prioritizing sleep and diet. What works for me is low carb, keto, high fat. No, processed food. Eating liver twice a week to finally have a decent iron level. No, ok a lot less, alcohol, and crying into my sparkling water and herbal tea, but sleeping better for it. And time outside, either active or just getting direct sun, also great for sleep.

It has made a huge difference for me, but it was a huge change and can be challenging. It sucks that what I 'want' make me feel like shit. But most of the time not feeling like shit is worth it. Not all the time though!

Best of luck, and I hope you find what works for you, but you may need to make some changes.
