How to start taking patch and tablets

Tomorrow will be day 15 of my cycle. Should I start with my progesterone? I have not used the oestrogen patches yet as only picked my prescription a couple days ago.

so, should I wait for my period, start the patches then wait for day 15 and start the tablets or should I kick things off with the progesterone first tomorrow?

many thanks for any advice on how to start my HRT!

Check with the GP who prescribed it surely?

Normally day 15 for progesterone and then estrogen is within 5 days of starting period. But definitely check if you're not sure.

Thanks guys. I understand how to use both when in full swing just my gp didn’t give me any instructions on how to actually start.

Today could be first day of progesterone and by the time I get a call back from my doctor I guess I’ll be into my next cycle.

I want to get started asap but equally don’t want to completely make my first shot at this turn me more mental than I already am! 😂

If today is day 15 then start both today. Oestrogen can be started at anytime during the cycle;

Or wait until your next period and start the patches then and progesterone on D15 of the next cycle.

Don't start just the progesterone (which is how I read your question), it's needed to balance out the oestrogen but there's no point taking it without oestrogen :)
