Why am I bleeding every two weeks?

My GP swapped me from sequential HRT to continuous about a year ago. I am fifty two and did have regular periods. She said after you have been on HRT for a year you could swap to continuous. My moods are much better on continuous and I sleep! For the last few months my periods have arrived two weeks apart. Shall I swap back to sequential or carry on with continuous. If you are continuous HRT will periods ever stop? I will give the GP a call next week. What have been your experiences?

I wonder if you’d be better sticking with sequential HRT for another couple of years until your periods naturally stop. I was on sequential HRT for 3-4 years - when I started at 51 I was still having regular periods. I switched to continuous a few months ago at 55 and haven’t had any bleeding since.

43 put on continuous HRT last year in July never had a break. Somehow it is more preferable to keep pumping HRT instead of checking under active thyroid at time of life I thought more attention then ever would be paid to UAT at mid-life but no! Periods fortnightly have a fibroid not that it should cause symptoms according to glorious nhs. Had two months hassle free but brown discharge yesterday followed by what seems a period bleed. Why no ovulation discharge/signs of period coming.

Yes this is what I’m thinking. I get really moody on sequential though. I’m debating a coil too.
