HRT and Weight Loss Injections

Has anyone started both at a similar time?

I’m about to start HRT, Evorel Sequi patches. Just waiting for my next cycle to begin.

I also would like to start Mounjaro. It’s been something I’ve contemplated and researched and purchased the injection before I was confirmed as peri menopause and given HRT.

Anyone on both?

I'm on both (started mounjaro in sept and her in Jan). No issues for me. Are you expecting any?

I think I was worried about side effects and not knowing which was causing it and so whether it was advised to give a period of time between starting them.
I think I’m just worrying perhaps needlessly.

Well I've had a few of the usual gastro side effects but pretty sure that's going up the doses on mounjaro and especially if I don't eat very clean. I'm on the sequi patches too.

I'm on both. No particularly horrendous side effects, especially going up the doses. The first month or so I had queasiness on jab day. I suffer with the runs if I've had something fried or greasy.
Tiredness has been a big one that I cannot figure out if it's related to peri or low food intake, needing many more afternoon naps than previously.

HRT can initially cause anxiety. It should subside as your body adjusts to the influx of hormones.

Monujaro can cause low mood, this is one of the factors that are screened for when you order Mounjaro. They check if you already have depression.
