Pregnancy fear - normal?!

Please be kind. I am almost 51 and had an endometrial ablation 18 months ago for sudden heavy periods. I can still roughly track my cycle as have had a small amount of spotting since the ablation. However my period/spotting is now three weeks late. While the rational part of my brain says this is bang on average age-wise to miss a period, I presumed periods would lengthen or shorten before they don’t arrive at all. I’m now becoming irrationally convinced I am pregnant. I have ordered tests off Amazon but am not sure if I am being totally ridiculous. It is vaguely possible if contraception has failed. Can somebody talk sense to me. Can it be normal to just miss a period in an otherwise clockwork cycle? My eyesight and mood are dreadful so in full peri. Thanks.

Any of those are normal.

It's perfectly normal to miss a period without cycles changing in length.

Thank you, that’s what I was hoping to hear
