Bleeding using g spot dildo

New partner (post divorce) though I have a long term fwb with reasonabley regular sex with.
New partner likes to use toys, new one on me, but I'll try anything once and no means no.
So he was trying to make me squirt, another new one, and it really felt like I needed to the loo. Apparently this is normal.
It wasn't working for me, so I asked him to stop, which he did.
Then we realised I was bleeding. Looked a lot, but there was my wetness and lube. All on sheets and legs, like a period.
Panic, cleaned up, no further blood. Bit pink spotting, but that's it.
He thinks it could be left over womb lining as it was clotty, but was quite red. I didn't feel pain, some discomfort.
I'm 54, can't remember my last period, not on any form of get because I've got to this point relatively easily.
I'm guessing gp is the sensible thing, but explaining all that at my age is either embarrassing or making me look like a bit of a floozy 😅 or trying stuff I really should not be at my age.

I have no words of wisdom but just wanted to give you a high five lol My libido is non existent and have just started HRT and need to give it 3 months before the GP will prescribe testosterone. I live in hope I can get back to your level of fun!! I hope this episode doesn't put you off and do not let your age be a thing that embarrasses you!

Just say you've had some post menopausal bleeding. The investigations will all be the same.

They won't want all the details.

sixtyandfabulousofcourse · 09/03/2025 09:00

best check with a Dr probably the skin is thinner as you get older so could be that.
squirting is either easy or can be something takes a lot of time to learn

I’m a similar age with a similar floozy predisposition 😂 The appearance of blood makes me think there’s an injury that your GP should investigate. Even if it turns out to be nothing better safe than sorry. 💐 I once had a new lover who wanted me to try Benwaa balls. 😳

All the GP needs to know is that you’re post menopausal and you’ve had some bleeding during/after sex. It’s likely just caused some irritation to thinner skin but best to get it checked out.

Agree needs investigating - many absolutely benign things it could (and will, in all likelihood) will be but also rules out some more serious things.

Thanks people.
Been to the gp and (two spectums, two different rooms a broken bed and a broken lamp later) , I now have a gynae appointment within the two week rule (?) for a polyp on the cervix.

Fun.

I've just been down that exact pathway, it's great that they get you checked out so quickly and likely nothing to worry about.

I've had 2 different biopsies taken. A thorough scan of my cervix and womb. All looks fine apparently. It's very common i think at our age. Annoying as I'm just enjoying sex again after a sexless marriage for so long.

Ask for oestrogen cream or pessaries perhaps to help your vagina. Seems to be working for me.
