The itchy skin has suddenly ramped up. My scalp, my boobs, my whole fecking body. I want to rub myself against a palm tree like a bear.

I'm waiting for menopause clinic appointment due to a previous heart issues meaning my GP is reticent to prescribe HRT.

Apart form actually rubbing myself all over with a scouring pad, is there anything that help?

A daily antihistamine tablet helps me.

Horrible, isn't it?

PiggyPlumPie · 04/03/2025 22:04

Fexofenadine.

Can sympathise hugely.

Thanks. I’ll get some. DD has that every day for allergies so I’ll get extra.

I get really really itchy legs and the palmers exfoliating lotion is the only thing that stops it
Used to be called anti ageing, then skin renew and think they've renamed it again to smooth radiant Confused

Says exfoliating on it anyway, and it stinks but it works

I'm itchy all over but my are the worst. Vaseline dry skin healing balm has been the best so far for m.

I've also become intolerant to most knitwear. It feels like sandpaper.

HarrietofFire · 05/03/2025 00:03

Sorry shins are the worst

LostMyLanyard · 05/03/2025 08:44

It's awful isn't it? I now keep a metal bristled hairbrush next to my bed, and use this to scratch my bloody itchy skin...my nails no longer cut it! 🤣🤦‍♀️
