Something to take the edge off anxiety

I’m looking for something to take the edge off anxiety.

I’m 55, out the other side of it I think, and I’m in a really good place. I just find that now and again I’m getting a bit of anxiety.

It’s quite irrational, like I’m going to the theatre and the thought of sitting there for 2 hours is making me anxious.

I think I need something to “take the edge off it”, so I enjoy the things I do.

I am not looking for HRT

CBT- to change your thinking. Work out what you're anxious about.

It's really normal to be anxious. I think we need to accept this and understand everyone often feels this way but the reality is probably not as bad as the actual worry about it.

Thx

I have actually been referred for CBT due to an accident I was in. The insurance co. are faffing around though and it’s taking forever to organise.
