Any top tips or advice or things that helped (or are helping you) when you reached this stage of life?

HRT, if you can take it. Nothing else will restore your depleting hormone levels

All the boring lifestyle stuff is essential too and really makes a difference:
Prioritise sleep
Nutritious diet - protein, fibre, plenty of fruit and veg
Hydration
Exercise

I can’t take HRT unfortunately. I felt nauseous and sick to the point of being debilitated. It’s completely put me off going there again.

You can't rule it out based on one type or one dose.

There are lots and lots of combinations.

Nausea was probably down to too high a dose to start with.

I had that and it was easily resolved by reducing the dose of gel to 1/4 of the daily starting dose and building up slowly over weeks.

Welcome to another stage in your life. First, you should accept that you're not as agile or healthy as before. Menopause, apart from its symptoms, sometimes shows us some aches, pains or worse illnesses that are accumulated due to our bad lifestyle habits or from the menopause DNA that we get from our moms. And the general and often overlooked health guidelines, like exercise, enough sleep, enough hydration, enough sunlight, healthy eating habits, and more importantly regularly visit your doctor.
