Lenzetto working well but itchy skin? Remedies please.

After 2 years of using oestrogen gel (all the different shaped bottles) I am close to giving up, because I don't seem to be absorbing enough/ it's just not working. My lovely GP moved me to Lenzetto spray - I only need 2 pumps and I can see the positive effect. However the alcohol is making my skin itch and I'm scratching them red raw. I have tried a lot of creams but nothing helps for long. I've gone back to the gel for 2 nights and woken up with night sweats and insomnia so it's clearly not working for me.

Has anyone used Lenzetto and successfully resolved the itching?
If not, what was your next move?

Have you tried an antihistamine?

@DustyLee123 - I haven't, but even if it did work, I'd have to take it everyday for the foreseeable future - which I'd rather not.

Have you tried spraying in different places?Maybe patches are the answer? X

Thank you, it itches anywhere I spray - gp has suggested patches but Estradot seems to be out of stock! 😩

I use Evorel patches and they are great, maybe worth a try?

@Christine0708 - thank you, what dose of everol are you on? I've never used patches before and don't understand the dosage! I think I've been prescribed Everol/Estradot 50 - is that 2 pumps of gel?

Hi @happy2025 yes that looks about right on the website I looked at. I was on 50 patch for 18months but recently went upto 75 as I felt some symptoms were coming back.
