Hi I’ve been on oestrogen gel and mirena coil for about 2.5yrs. I’m now having to come off both due to multiple cysts in breast. Just wondered if anyone else has had this and what they use as an alternative eg. Vitamins or supplements etc.

I've read about red clover supplements, but I doubt it would be anywhere as good as a commercial oestrogen.

Did your GP give you any other options? Some family planning and sexual health centres, also run specific menopause clinics. You'd need to ring around to see if there is one near you, but would be worth seeking out. I used them for contraception and I'd usually see the gynae consultant or a nurse specialist. They seemed to have far more knowledge of the latest meds than my GP.
