Evorel 50 patches allergic reaction?

I’ve used Evorel Conti / 50 and Sequi patches before and experienced a bit of itching and redness around the patch.

Recently started using them again, but for the past 48hrs I’ve felt like I’m being bitten by teeny insects or stung all over my legs. My legs are itchy with a red rash and anti histamines only provide very temporary relief before the itching starts again.

My lips felt tingly earlier too, which has now gone.

Just wondered if this could be a patch reaction or just something unrelated? I don’t usually suffer with rash type things aside from a tiny patch of prickly heat rash that appears in hot weather.

I've had localised rash/soreness with that patch (never reacted to anything ever before) so it's worth asking to try a different brand. I was prescribed the one end..."dot" (in a blue box) and that was fine for me, it's much smaller in size too which was a bonus, and might be why my skin tolerates it.

Thanks. The itching is driving me insane, seems to increase at night. I removed the patch on Thursday in case it was the cause. Still itchy now. 😔

I'm very allergic. As per PP, Estradot is less aggravating , but it's currently out of stock. Am currently using Estraderm which is also itchy but not as bad as Evorel.

Omg my latest batch have been driving me insane with the itch! Over the previous year it was just a random itch here or there, but now it’s awful. The Dr has prescribed anti histamine this week but I’m not sure that is the best solution

I use evorel patch l haven't experienced any itch.l hope yours goes away soon.

This is so strange because I am having exactly the same issue with my current batch! I couldn’t work out what on earth was going on as I’ve used them before for nearly 2 months with no issue. I might stop this lot and report to the yellow card system and get a new batch.

Yes, I was put on a course of high dose Fexofenadine when my rash became 'systemic'. This seems frankly ridiculous!

I have removed the most recent patch. Previous patches have just itched around the patch, but this is all over both legs. The rash itself looks like barely anything compared to the insane itching, especially at night time.

I’ve been taking anti histamines each day but it still itches. I’ve also used after sun lotion to try and ease it. Regular moisturiser stung.
