Oestrogel and periods

I've just switched from Elleste Duet 2mg to Oestrogel so on day 3 of using it. On Elleste Duet my period was really light for the first few days then had a couple of heavier days then finished. Since starting Oestrogel my period has been quite heavy from the start and having period pains. Is this normal for Oestrogel? TIA.

What progesterone are you on?

@DustyLee123 I'm supposed to take progesterone from day 15. I had 3 tablets left when I switched hrts so maybe I didn't get enough progesterone last month as had to start gel on day 1 of my period?

Maybe, I’d give it a couple of months to see where you are at. Make a note/diary of any bleeding
