I'm 37 and have 2 children 15 and 9. I have very very heavy periods. Bleed through thr extra thick pads within an hour. Also to make matter worse. I'm every 18 days.. ive had a pelvic ultrasound and they say everything is fine. I'm low on iron so bought some tabs. I'm very cranky all the time. Struggle to sleep at night and then almost cry when my alarm goes off for work. I've got brain fog, bit of weight gain (but I'm craving choc more) very inpatient with my kids. No libido. Constantly need a wee. Upto 3 times jn the night and twice before sleep. I just want to lie in my room alone. Does this sound like peri menopause?
Thanks for reading x

Yes it does, but you’re not guaranteed to get HRT at your age, although you can ask for a trial to see if it helps.
So to help your current problems, I’d suggest a Mirena coil to reduce/stop your bleeding. Get your iron checked, and while you’re at it ask for thyroid and B12. You’re prime age for the thyroid to play up, and it can cause some of your symptoms.
Magnesium glycinate before bed for sleep.
Lionsmane or magnesium L threonate for brain fog.
Increase protein to fill you up, to stop snacking.
Look at starting omega 3 for joint pain, and D3 &K2 for bones.
For the future you need to look at leg strengthening exercises and using some weights.
Alcohol is not your friend now, it will disturb your sleep.
