Waxing upper lip

Ok I’m not quite menopause but potentially perimenopause at 44 and I’ve noticed that I have significantly more hairs on my upper lip eeks! I’ve tried plucking but thinking something more drastic is required.

What about waxing the upper lip? Pros/cons? I don’t want it to grow out of control though if waxing makes it grow back more? Urghh!

I would look in to laser. I'm in a similar situation but mine is on my chin. I've had 3 sessions of laser and its virtually gone, just a few stubborn ones that I'm hoping will go with the final sessions

I have tried all sorts to remove my upper lip hair (except laser).

I prefer cold wax strips and do them myself at home every 8 weeks or so.

Used to use hair removal creams but they can burn if left too long!

Get yourself a hot wax kit from Amazon and wax it every 4 weeks or so, then when you feel the strong ones coming back in between just tweezer them out.

Were they all dark hairs or were some light? I have this problem and have never tried laser because a lot of the hairs are really light and I've heard it doesn't work on light hair?

For long-term investment, laser is the best. Natural cold honey wax is good as well, if you can handle the pain.

I use the Superdrug lip waxing strips once a week; keeps it under control nice & easy
