When to take utrogestan?

I have been on hrt for 3 years. I was initially taking utrogestan for 12 days on the 15th day of my cycle however over the last few months my cycle has been getting very short (around 21 to 22 days). Should I instead take utrogestan every 28 days?

I’ve only been on it for three months now and my last cycle went from regular as clockwork 28 days to starting again on day 9.

Doctors and clinical pharmacists are now advising 14 days off / 14 days on to try and stop irregular bleeding, so I’m trying that.

You can't sync Utrogestan with your own cycle as it will not work long term.

Take it on the same day every month for 12 days, regardless of your own cycle.
HRT resets the cycle.

Women using patches or tablets don't have this 'bother' with counting days- the patches and tablets come in a pack already based on 28 day cycles.

I'm on Utrogestan (alongside HRT)and have one capsule every evening every day of the month with no no break inbetween packs. Is this wrong??

Utrogestan daily is for women post menopause. So if your periods have stopped, that's fine.
What else are you using? gel? patches?
