On Evorel 50 and progesterone tabs on days 15-27. Supposed to have periods, but because I was three quarters of a day late with changing a patch I suddenly had a period. Not heavy, just dark, thick, and bloody painful. Also had a lot of pain in my left hip which I used to get when I had periods. Just realised the hip pain's connected finally - although I did use to suspect, but it would only ever wax and wane, and become unwalkable occasionally, so by the time I would consider going to the GP about it, it would improve. I do apparently have no right ovary - or at least they've not seen it in the last two investigations. (I'm 50). Been feeling like the progesterone is too heavy and the oestrogen not enough. WOuld I be unreasonable to ask whether I could have a higher dose of oestrogen and lower progesterone? Is it possible?
