Utrogestan to mirena for depression

I had mirena for a decade.
Started hrt and was told utrogestan and oestrogel was the best combo.
I had the old mirena removed.
Since feeling really low I stopped hrt and mentally felt great.
My GP suggested a coil and oestrogel so I don't need utrogestan pills.
Has anyone felt better switching?

I loved Utrogestan for two years but then it turned on me and made me feel awful.
I'm on nothing right now, considering Mirena too so will be interesting to hear

I went from utrogestan to a mirena fairly quickly after starting HRT. Mainly because it was an extra faff to remember to take pills on certain days and I didn’t want to have to carry on dealing with pretend periods. But also because the utrogestan capsules are not vegetarian. (And there are no equivalent alternatives before everyone piles on!)

I'm hopeful that the switch will work.
Didn't know the capsule isn't vegetarian.
I am a vegetarian.

I switched to Mirena from
Utrogestan a year ago and felt so much better as a result. Less ‘rollercoaster’ throughout the cycle, and more gradual emotional peaks and troughs… and a bit less rage! Though everyone is different, and I still do feel rubbish before my ‘period’ (I only spot a tiny bit, no bleed).

I have mirena and gel and I have never felt better. Definitely turned my mental health around. I have not tried any other HRT but took the progesterone only pill for 20 years.

I'm very much in peri, my periods are now every three weeks and quite heavy, I'm hoping a Mirena would sort that out. Light or no periods would be blissful.
I did put on half a stone on Estrogel/Utrogestan
Combo. Certainly not the end of the world but it was all water and made me look and feel puffy and bloated. I didn't really realise until I came off and the water mention was gone in weeks.
I'm hoping the Mirena won't have that effect as it's more direct to the source.
