Heavy period after changing hrt type

Hi just wondered if anyone else has had problems with first spotting for several weeks then what seems like a heavy period since I changed from evorel sequi to oestrogel 3 doses and gepretix 200mg for 12 days I'm also on desogestrel for contraception which I've been on for around 10 years and I had no periods all that time so these bleeds are strange and annoying to me so just that really if anyone has had similar problems

Yes - for me it helped to have 14 days of progesterone.

How long should a heavy period last I've been a full 7 days with no sign of lessoning

How heavy is it? Soaking through a pad in less than an hour?
You can get a prescription for something that stops the bleeding.

It's heavier than I'm used to but probably not soaking through in an hour I'm just worried as it's been 12 days consistently how long should it go on for before I make an appointment
